I encourage you to have someone besides the listing agent show you the home.  While it is legal and ethical--with full disclosure--for the listing agent to serve as an agent for both the sellers and prospective buyers (called dual agency), it does mean that the prospective buyers are not fully represented.  Work with an agent who is responsible only to you!  It will not cost you more to work with me (I don't do Buyer Agency Exclusive Contracts, so you never owe commission to me), and can save you alot of money and headaches!
